Now the European Super League is confirmed and they are planning to get rid of the teams that take part anyone think there is a chance of Celtic and Rangers finally joining the Premier League.

And what a good chance they could have to win the league with all the big sides out the way the problem is and as i say this was just question anyway but as i say the problem is if it was to happen they would be called chickens for not taking part when the big sides was involved.

Would be fucking Hypocritical of the PL to do such a thing and prob destroy the SPL in the process can see wee Jimmy not having it either just imagine it vote for independence to have your 2 biggest teams disappear down south

Loking at it now with Spurs joining there is every chance that the best opportunity for an international trophy for two or three of thr home nations has been thrown away by those who play. I think the clubs have been hankering to do this for very a long time but tbh, to do it when there is a pandemic on people have died, and towards the back end of a domestic seasson is disgusting. If MC win this season's title, then they should not get the title, that should be played off for by Leicester, Everton, Leeds & W Ham in a mini league. The clubs involved have never once thought about the fan base and once they go they should not be allowwed back into domestic football. I hope many will see sense once the FA & PL, UEFA & FIFA introduce bans.

Two questions:-

Who are the true financiers of such an idea? I have heard that it is down to the American owners of United & Liverpool and their backers in the US.

The statement put out said it 'will start as soon as practicable' are we talking maybe another year or two?

Talk the RM chairman and chairman of ESL sees it starting in August. If the Authorites ban the teams then will only hasten it not slow it

the finances in place so its happening Govts cant stop it

Fans can protest all they want but they will come around cant see many fans not wanting to see there teams play and the local derbys and stuff like El classico and Milan Derby and the top matches in the EPL

Without the money coming in from the big 6 and Sky reducing there money because they wont want to pay full whack for a league without the big 6 games the PL and FA are FUCKED !!!!

The ESL (as I will call irt for now) have sent letters to to UEFA & FIFA threatening court action if sanctions are imposed on them.

Let them go to court and get their case thrown out.
They have made their bed where ths is concerned let them lie in it and see where it takes them.

Hope all the players & coaches will now walk away from the clubs and coach & play for new "phoenix clubs" of those involved in the EPL and still be eligible for national duty. And above all ELSE, the FA, EPL EFL, & SPL must finally RECOGNISE the voices of the fans and kck out the foreign owners out of our game, take back the grounds and FINALLY give the FANS in this country, a true voice in the boardrooms of EVERY SINGLE CLUB IN the pyramid so we have a REAL SAY in our games' FUTURE and iour CLUB'S FUTURE.
