Yes I agree with this. I've only watched once, but on that occasion the recorded 'filler' sections were definitely a cut above the live action.

One thing I did notice from the promo loop was, calls to the encrypted show are only 35p/min. It was 'blink and you'll miss it' then I had to wait ages for it to come round again to make sure I'd read it right.

It shows how shit their marketing department is, that they don't have this front and centre because it's a big selling point if you're a tv caller.

A 15min call on the regular shows is £30 but a 15min call on the encrypted show would only be £12.25 (£7 sub + £5.25 in call charges)

I noticed that to, mind you is it because they really only want you to call on the £2 number because girls won't want to do the encrypted shows unless theres another £ incentive to.

No, because 35p is very prominently displayed onscreen during the encrypted broadcasts. It even says 35p in two places. Plus the night I watched Beth mentioned the 35p call cost several times and kept pointing to the number.

Something a little different on Tuesday night, with April Jones and Jamie Knight appearing together in the middle section. Poppy May and Lucia Maria were the other girls.

Same as the 60p number often used but given the choice of 35p or £2 they’ll go for the 2 every time, probably why you never see either prominently in the advertising just with with slightly smaller on screen graphics etc.

Having that info hidden behind the encryption isn't much help in persuading people to part with their £7 in the first place though, is it.

The best way to describe Wednesday night was routine. Hayley Maye, Alice and Anna Lei were the girls going through the motions. Apart from the 35p call charge I can't see anything positive to report, so I probably won't be watching it anymore.

Incidentally, I said above that the 35p price is stated twice, but in this screenshot it's actually 3 times because it's displayed on the ticker as well.

Its a tad smaller than the banner for the £2 a min on the night shows as we know that thing can be massive. Not getting into an argument about banner sizes though. The initial discussion was around the fact the don't advertise it prominently in the advertising trailers etc which they don't.

One thing to remember is if you are one off viewer you've already paid £7 to watch what is essentially one of the web shows (possibly tamer) but on tv. So effectively already paid for 3 mins of a call (if you include the average network access charge) before you even call. The call to then go through the menus and pay more before you speak to the babe. Unless you planning on a massively long call your better off just buying a credit pack and watch via the web and call using that.
