Track one: I should be so lucky - Kylie Minogue
Kylie was the crush of my teenage years. I adored her and her music.
This song captured my imagination then just as it does now albeit for a very different set of reasons.

Track two: Barcelona - Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballet
My love affair with the Olympics is well documented.
Freddie Mercury to my mind is the greatest music artist of all time and this collaboration with a quite brilliant Soprano is as awe inspiring as it ever was.

Track three: When I'm cleaning windows - George Formby
Forever a reflection of my daft and mischievous side. Love the ukelele too .

Track four: Read all about it - Emeli Sande
A song that resonates with me more than most. Exposes my every weakness, worry and fear yet at the same time acts as such an inspiration.
The song of ultimate conflict between hope in my heart and pain in my soul.
Absolute musical work of art.

Track five: Earth Song - Michael Jackson
An artist ahead of his time with a series of powerful messages ahead of theirs. For all his own frailties and faults he was a music genius.

Track Six: Fix you - Coldplay
An anthem to the struggles of humanity. I need say no more.

Track Seven: Bring me to life - Katherine Jenkins
Brought me to tears watching her perform this in concert.
Absolutely flawless.

Track Eight: Goldeneye - Tina Turner
Combining two great institutions.
James Bond.
Tina Turner.
Say no more.


Book choice: Long Walk To Freedom - Nelson Mandela.

Luxury item: Full size snooker table, balls, cue and chalk.

Castaway favourite track: Bring me to life - Katherine Jenkins.

Track one: New Day - Karnivool.
I've loved this Australian band since I first heard them, even tweeted about them before giving up on Twitter, so yeah, twelve years I've been a fan.
Bonus, the song is over eight minutes, also a bit of a journey in its self, so not easy to get bored of. Quickly became my favourite band.

Track two: Nuvole Bianche - Ludovico Einaudi.
I'm fairly new to this composer & pianist, but I adore his music, it is just so beautiful and relaxing.

Track three: Damage Inc - Metallica.
I've been a Metallica fan since I was a kid, like Primary School age, how lol, so anything they do I love.

Track four: Don't You Worry Child - Swedish House Mafia.
Just a great track that I have never tired of.

Track five: The Kill (Bury Me) - Thirty Seconds To Mars.
Love the song and the video is a mini movie, it's one of my favourites from them.

Track six: No Good (Start The Dance) - The Prodigy.
Old school classic, still one of my favourites.

Track seven: Adagio For Strings - Tiesto.
It's got to be close to twenty years old, but still a great track, a few variations/mixes of it, but I prefer Tiesto's original mix.

Track eight: Winter (Four Seasons) - Vivaldi.
Even if you aren't a fan of classical music, you can't not be impressed by this, it's just great, piano only is my favourite version to listen to.

Book choice: Ultimate Survival Handbook - Bear Grylls

Luxury item: Is an SAS survival kit cheating, if not, that, if it is then I suppose a two floor RV. Yes impractical, but bugger it, bung it on the island. lol

Castaway favourite track: Nuvole Bianche - Ludovico Einaudi.

Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do (Fifty Shades)
Would be downright criminal for Ellie not to feature within these 8 tracks ... gives me all sorts of feels this heck perhaps its a sign I'm a modern Mr Grey
