I doubt it. He's said nothing in the press, even though he turns 62 in a few weeks time. In December he was saying he's only just getting started because he's got unfinished business in snooker.

Jimmy's got one of those discretionary tour cards that snooker legends like he and Stephen Hendry get so they can just keep going and going in the professional game until they decide to stop.

They're still good business to include, no matter how rubbish they are.

Marco Fu came back from 6-5 down against Ken Doherty to beat him 10-6. Fu's 5 frame winning run included a break of 136, and in the final frame when going for a 147 break, he broke down at 104.

Fu against Vafaei next, though. Many middling names about to crash by the wayside.

Jack Lisowski in fantastic form in his round 3 match with Liu Hongyu. 3 centuries in the first 5 frames and securing a 10-4 win with a break of 142.

Not so good for Thepchaiya Un-Nooh. He was 9-5 down against Mark Davis and clawed it back to 9-8 but Davis managed to beat him 10-8.

No further progress for Gao Yang as he was beaten 10-6 by Zak Surety. Gao has to go back to Q School now to try and get a tour card before the new season starts. Zak Surety's next opponent is none other than Neil Robertson. The match starts on Monday.

Fergal O'Brien announced his retirement from Snooker. He was beaten 10-8 by Mostafa Dorgham in round 1. Dorgham subsequently lost 10-5 to Graham Dott in round 2. Fergal turned professional in 1991 and was a professional for over 30 years.

McGill's out! Beaten 10-5 by He Guoqiang. I bet quite a few of the top 16 will be relieved they don't have to play him at the Crucible.

Hossein Vafaei v Marco Fu in round three of qualifying is a potentially interesting match.
McGill losing removes a very dangerous floater from the main draw.

But Lisowski, Maguire and particularly Robertson are lurking ominously for the seeded players to have nightmares about as well as Si Jiahui.

Fan Zhengyi was another surprise early exit, he'd had some good spells this season.

I won't be sorry that McGill's out, he makes Maguire look like a ray of sunshine.

For some reason the WST are calling the 4th and final round of qualifying Judgement Day even though it spans 2 days, Tuesday and Wednesday. Sounds good anyway.

Zhou Yuelong wasted no time booking his place on Judgement day, whitewashing James Cahill 10-0. His Judgement Day opponent is Jak Jones.

Maguire made it through to Judgement Day, beating Ashley Hugill 10-7.

Lisowski's got Matthew Stevens for Judgement Day, He Guoqiang's got spaceman Dominic Dale

Booooooooo annoyed.

And just to make matters worse Bingham beat Carrington in a Stuart off 10-9.

Booooooooooooooooooo bladewave.

It's been called judgement day for the last few years.
I just call it Judgement Day one and Judgement Day two Smile.
Otherwise I would just have something else to boo about Big Laugh.
