An excellent weekend from the Tour with Cavendish delivering on the flat stage into Montpellier to put him in a really strong position for the green jersey. He's got to get through the Alps - and he looked to be struggling on Saturday in the Pyrenees - but he's got to be the favourite for the green jersey especially as HTC are so strong and he's won the final day sprint in Paris for the last two years. But, don't take anything for granted in cycling...

HTC will look after Cav in the Alps. He is their main star. Would love to see him win in Paris and get the green Jersey.

Apparently the Tour organisers realised that Cavendish, who is one the Tour's greatest sprinters ever, had never worn the green jersey.

So they amended the scoring.

It seems to have worked.

Very interesting and surprising stage today with Andy Shleck losing a minute to Contador and Evans. Contador afterwards said he now feels a lot stronger than he did last week. It's going to be very interesting in the Alps now and i expect Contador to go on the attack after those comments today. The Shlecks may rue not taking time out of him in the Pyrenees when he looked vulnerable. All in all it's going to be a very exciting few days

Cadel Evans has looked very strong also and i wouldnt rule him out fininshing in yellow in Paris.

Looks like Cav has the 'Green Jersey in bag after those epic mountain stages last 2 days. Hopefully he can win final stage in Paris. The 'Yellow Jersey' winner will have earned it this year.

andy schleck deserves it after 2 fantastic stages in the mountains, cadel evens only won it has he is better than schleck on time trails.
