Problems receiving or recording the shows

Last night I left my recorder/freeview off until after 10.00 at night, when I turned it on Big Deal was on and clear vision, does this then mean that i should be able to get BS2 ok.

There were no problems at all with BS2 on channel 42 for the Granada region last night.
I recorded the whole show ok.

No BS2 for me again last night , and no Big Deal again tonight – Has anyone tried contacting Cellcast to see if they can explain what the problem is? I contacted Digital UK, but no reply so far.

I’m beginning to get annoyed!

I'm not sure - I lost both channels at the same time, so have made a connection between them that may not exist?

Can I conclude that you are still unable to get BS2, but you can get Big Deal?

No further news? I Still can’t get BS2, and no reply from Digital UK.

Do Cellcast know that some people can no longer view some of their channels?

I'm probably stating the obvious, but you need to be absolutely sure the fault isn't at your end.

No, the problem ‘was’ definitely not at my end - I tried various bits of equipment, with the same result. Also, there is a post on Digital Spy about this very problem, so it's not only me.

Anyway, I said 'was' because BS2 is back!

Now all we need is Cellcast to stop treating viewers on Freeview like second class citizens, and ditch the extra-tame versions of their channels. Sadly, there doesn’t seem much chance of that, if the last few nights of the other 3 channels are anything to go by

Still, fingers crossed for BS2.
