Quality thread hijack guys! I thought Doggett was a great addition to the show as well and he was developing that 'nurture-attraction' vibe with Scully that Mulder had.Mulder shouldn't have come back and then the less sceptical Scully would have been totally acceptable as a sort of emotional homage to the Mulder character without being a complete 'about face' from her character.The movie sucked and was so depressing to watch,character wise.It was a 'piss poor' epitaph to one of the greatest TV series ever and the desert island scene at the end was laughable.It's like the characters are saying "There's still evil on and off this planet but we can't be arsed anymore and just want to be together" So bloody annoying!
