Jeff Lynnes ELO @ Hyde Park,a mate won two VIP tickets for the day and spent most of it backstage,a day to remember and had chats with Whispering Bob Harris & Johnny Walker and numerous other Radio 2 faces.

The Jesus and Mary Chain playing their debut album "Psychocandy" in full last week @ Manchester Academy. Loud as fuck. They're doing more of the same next year, looking to see them in Cardiff, as it's much nearer to me!

Delain at Birmingham O2 Academy.Two excellent support bands The Raven Age & Wolf and a powerhouse performance from Delain. Towards the end of the show they have a streamer canon to fire foil streamers over the crowd during a song called 'The Gathering' unfortunately at this show with an extra guest guitarist on a fairly small stage positioning was thrown out and bassist Otto was in the wrong place receiving a direct hit from behind in a delicate place.Depite being in pain and bleeding he completed the show before going to hospital for an operation to rescue a ruptured testicle, now thats metal.
