Should Ofcom be abolished.

Surely we have got to have a couple of years cynical, negative and speculative campaigning for the yes and no campaigns first .
Once its been abolished do we get a second referendum to see which one of us replaces it ?

I notice we're not being asked if the broadcasting code should be abolished or if the regulation of broadcasting should be abolished, only if Ofcom should be abolished. So without Ofcom I assume regulation would continue as before but be carried out by a different body.
