Apparently Guns N Roses are rehashing new material

That's according to Richard Fortus. He reckons it will be the best thing they'be ever come up with. Slash and Duff McKagan are back in the lineup alongside Axl (but not Izzy Stradlin, Steven Adler or Matt Sorum). The current line up is completed by Dizzy Reed, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese, so it's a nice mix of classic and newer members.

i dont know honest answer if they go for the rawness of Appetite for destruction which always said was there best album Use your illusion I and II were ok if they had only just done the one album and mixed best of both would have been a classic

saw the original line up at monsters of rock in 88 and then on the use your illusion tour in sheffield can hardley remember the latter i had just found the joys of snakebite made with ice beers dont know how i got home over 100 miles away

If they want to become a nostalgia act, great. I presume Axl had calmed down somewhat to do that whole AC/DC stand-in bit, I can't see those guys putting up for long with the sorts of antics he was notorious for getting up to when he put his mind to it.

Axl, Slash and the others more than deserved their rep among the greats for their music.

They had already got back together before the whole AC/DC thing happened they did cochella before it apparently they were 3 hours late for the gig



Drummer was shite hope they replaced him the Keyboard player Melissa Reece is quite cute and got a good pair of lungs on her she sang national anthem at a seattle seahawks game recently

Apparently the band are announcing a HUGE show at Slane Castle next year, on Monday morning around 10am. It would be their first Irish show with Slash or Duff McKagan since they played at that very same venue in May 1992. Official confirmation expected on http://mcd.ie
