Part of my youth, not just me but my departed mother and step father also watched the show, many a happy evening

For an actress who became famous for playing dowdy sexually frustrated Olive her real life before On the Buses was totally different.

Anna Karen was a really nice person. I heard a long interview with her on the radio a few years ago. I also remember seeing her on the Soho stage, as she worked as a stripper when she was at drama school and was well thought of.
