RIP Eddie Butler

Rugby commentator and former Wales international Eddie Butler has passed away aged 65. He played 16 times for Wales and captained Wales 6 times and scored 2 Tries also commentated at the Olympics in 2012. He passed away in his sleep during a charity trek. Did so many voice overs for sports montages particulrly the ones for the 2012 Olympics. His comentary with ex England rugby ster Brian Moore are legendary.

RIP Eddie 6N won't be the same without you.

So sudden!!

He didn't only play for Wales he was their captain.

And he was a legendary sports broadcaster, commentation on Rugby and much more.

Charity Prostate Cymru, of which Mr Butler was an ambassador, said he died during the early hours of Thursday, September 15, "peacefully in his sleep" in the Peruvian Andes.
