R.I.P Geoff Capes

Former double World's Strongest Man and Team GB shot putter Geoff Capes has passed away at 75.

He set the British record in the shot put and won Commonwealth Gold as well as the European Indoor title.

Sincerest condolences to all his family and friends.

I remember him winning thr World's strongest man title

Not only that he still holds the British shot putt record as well I don't a British shot putter (or even decathlete has come close to breaking it), wasn't he quite surprised that he'd won one of his two shot putt title in the Commonwealths?
