new dr who

started filming today. heres a few pics. dont expect an original costume for the doctor. the new love interest looks very good to me.

as nobody will chip in i will say the costume might be a nice idea. puting the youngest doctor in the oldest modern day time costume is probably a cool idea. i would prefer a costume a little more out there. the doctor has been everywhere so why this love affair with 20th centuary earth? i would have him dressed in something wierd. maybe from centuaries in the past or maybe futuristic. why limit the character? he has been everywhere and at everytime. its stupid that he wears earth clothes atall and stupider that they are from our time frame.

I've got to agree with you on the costume front. My favourite costume touch of the whole series was Peter Davison's celery. To an alien, with a different aesthetic sensibility, a stick of celery may well be far more pleasing than a carnation or what have you.

Isn't the whole point is that the doctor loves earth and it's culture, so only fitting that he dresses in earth clothes, plus you seen gallifreyan fashion? Blimey!
