Apparently,its too late,,and like sooky said,'if you missed it,then you missed it' I think voting all took place while i was waiting for the page to load never known the board be so slow,sometimes it even times out!

The main advantage of The Awesome Babe of The Year award is, instead of only 2 (4 at most if you include both finalists from both night and daytime shows) ending up with any potential good feelings associated with the award, a minimum of 21 babes have been acknowledged for their work and subsequently praised etc. The beneficial effect of this can be seen in the fact that numerous babes have been on the forum thanking the acknowledgement, or indeed mentioning it on their facebooks, twitter accounts or the shows themselves.

The remainder of the tournament has been in order to find a 'Champion of Champions', so to speak.

And while it could be argued that some channels have more 'popular babes' than other channels, does that mean the smaller channels should be excluded from competing? Of course not. Afterall, the possible shock result makes anything exciting, and you're not going to have a shock result without a few 'lesser names' being in the mix.

In much the same way as the Champions League is open to teams from every European country, and not just from the 'top leagues' such as England, Spain, Italy, France etc.

This is in now way indicating The Awesome Babe of The Year as a 'superior' award, simply pointing out its merits.

I get the benefits of the Rugi Awards, but like every other award we've had here, they're not perfect. Which can't be expected, as every award will have it's drawbacks.

As long as people do not take these contests too seriously there is not a problem. For those who really care nomination inclusions and exclusions will be analysed to the enth degree, the draw for group stages will be lampooned as uneven and phrases like 'group of death' will enter the fray. And when the knockout stages start the complaint will be that certain match ups are more like stitch ups and that the whole thing is one great big fix. I have my favourites across all channels on days and nights. Hardly any of them won anything but hey its not the end of civilisation as we know it. Its just a bit of fun although every time my fave loses its clearly a conspiracy and a fix

Anne Widdecombe wasn't even in the contest to start with - talk about a fix. I'd flounce off the forum if that competition was still running.
