The Zimbabwe dollar has reached an exchange rate of 35,000,000,000,000,000 (35 quadrillion) to the US Dollar and as a result the Zimbabwe bank has decided to scrap the currency. They say the Zimbabwean dollar was ruined by runaway inflation over several years, the annual inflation rate reaching as high as 500,000,000,000% (500 billion per cent).
