RE: 24: Legacy
I wasn't compareing the lead characters as that would be unfair. Am just pointing out that new show isn't as strong as the old one. It may feel like a 24 show but it doesn't try to set it self apart from the series rather then infusioning fresh ideas it just rehashes stuff that's been done it's a problem the latter seasons of 24 suffered from. The characters in old series were engaging and intriguing for example Nina, Sherry, Chloe, mike Novick, Bill Buchanan, Michelle Dessler etc etc these were characters. 24 Season 2 was by far the best series it had a great characters, story and plot twists.
It's gonna get compared regardless because it's called 24 namely a spin off. Take films like the reboots of Robocop, Ghostbusters or Total Recall as a example there going to be compared to there original namesakes and especially if there classics or very good.
Look at Star Trek Next Gen it was always being compared to the original series it's only when Next Gen got to Season 3 were it got into its own stride, Deep Space 9 a spin off of Next Gen again felt like a Star Trek series but yet did its own this is what 24 Legacy should have done it feels like a 24 show but it's doing anything new or creative.

RE: 24: Legacy
^ I agree with that.I've seen much worse than 24 Legacy but it just seems rushed and bundled together as though just being associated with 24 would make it special.Even if you detach yourself from the Kiefer Sutherland show its not as good as other action/thriller shows that are already out there.Maybe it needs a chance to grow but for me,its all been done before.
