2016 Paralympics

The Paralympics shows even more than the Olympics what amazing things people can achieve. It's truly inspirational.

Team GB have passed the 100 medal mark already .
47 golds already and counting .
Tremendous stuff .

And now Team GB have beaten their 2012 medal haul and met their Rio medal target.

News has just broken that an Iranian paracyclist has died after crashing during today's road race. Devastating news

^ It didn't sound good from the reports after the race. A very sad way to close what has been a superb 2 weeks.

The stupidity at the end of the race was pathetic too. No need at all for riding like that.

Bahman Golbarnezhad is the cyclist concerned.
Apparently he went into cardiac arrest after a crash incident and died soon after reaching hospital.
May he rest in peace.
