RE: HOW TO CANCEL TVX SUBSCRIPTION

phallusfungus:
Just Googled "RHF Productions Ltd" to look for an email address to voice my unhappiness about this saga and the results are not promising.
They are in the habit of making demands for money long after services have been canceled, or in some cases never used:
Here is the very first result from Google for RHF productions Ltd:
RHF Productions SCAM or not?

2nd result:
Just had a letter demanding payment for channels I've never watched..

All Google results:

Looks as though we had better check our Bank Statements in detail from now on...
I paid my monthly subscription to a company called Digibill whom I assume are the collection agents for RHF Productions / Television X. The payment was taken using my debit card number.
When I wrote my cancellation letter I wrote "I understand that the last payment will be collected from my account on 6 March 2009" to protect myself from any payments after this date. As it transpired a partial payment was taken in April and the service ceased shortly after that date. No payment was taken this month, so I am happy that the service has ceased definitely. My debit card also expires this month so they will be unable to take any sneaky payments from my account in the future.
My advice to anybody cancelling their subscription is to contact their bank to cancel the direct debit if payment is made by that method or instruct their bank to refuse any payments from their debit/credit card. You can also add this point to your cancellation letter to make it clear to RHF Productions / Television X.
