Depending on which report you read, England's Director of Cricket, has been sacked, or resigned, either way, this is the first step, after the Ashes debacle. Andrew Strauss is to take temporary charge, until a replacement is found. No new, as yet, regarding the future of Head Coach Chris Silverwood.

Joe Root has got the backing of Strauss to continue as captain, The next step, is to appoint an interim Head Coach for the West Indies Test Match Tour. Alex Stewart is a front runner, also Richard Dawson is already in the Caribbean with the Under-19 World cup squad, ahead of tomorrows Final.
