RIP Vin Scully

The legendary voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers for 67 years has died at the age of 94

Vin Scully truly was the voice of the Dodgers and a hugely respected commentator for his work in baseball and the NFL. It is an American tradition for a team to employ a commentator on their flagship radio station who becomes synonymous with the franchise. Vin Scully was the last link back to the Brooklyn Dodgers, a man who helped to popularise baseball on the west coast and a voice of summer for so many baseball fans.
I think Scully was the finest sports broadcaster ever and can now join John Madden in the broadcast booth in the sky.
