The Australian journalist and documentary filmmaker has passed away, aged 84.

One of a dying breed of great journalists unafraid to show what needed to be shown.

Kerr Avon, Totally agree a great journalist he died in London on Saturday remember his reporting in Vietnam and Cambodia among others.

John Pilger very much had a game of two halfs career. In his early days he did all the things he is lauded for but in his later years he became the classic Stop the War Corbynista left wing crank

Not only with Ukraine but going on Russia Today & towing the Kremlin's line on the poisoning of the Skripal's, accusing the Syrian freedom fighters of gasing civilians in order to frame the Assad Regime as well as undermining the scale and authorship of Srebrenica
