RIP Tony Book

Former Manchester City captain Tony Book has died at the age of 90.

Under his captaincy, City won the old D1 title in 1969 and the FA Cup a year later, as well as a LeagurCup and European Cup Winners Cup. He played 315 games between 1966 - 1974 scoring five goals.
As their manager, he finished second to Liverpool 1977 losing by a point and was also manager of the City team that infamously got Manchester United relegated in 1974.

90 is a fantastic age - George Best described him as "his most difficult opponent" and that's some compliment.
