I see Serenity has been asking about findom and complaining about paypig timewasters on Twitter.

This is a tweet that comes up from time to time and it almost always bemoans the fact that there are no "real" paypigs out there. I think Emilie Rae made a similar complaint a while back and I'm sure I've seen it from others too.

There's a financial / marketing calculus to this decision that I'm not sure all the girls appreciate. Finding some guy who genuinely has this weird fetish -- and the money to indulge it -- must feel like winning the lottery. So I get the temptation to try it. But in the search for that winning lottery ticket, they run the real risk of alienating a bunch of guys who would have been quite happy to spend on calls, tips, and OF subscriptions. Unless they really lean into the whole financial dominatrix persona, then I'd wager they lose more money in lost fans than they earn from the occasional paypig that they manage to unearth.

As Snookered explained so eloquently in the Babe of the Year thread, it's not all about looks for the callers and spenders. Character counts. And there is something deeply unsettling about the whole findom/paypig vibe that is a real turn-off for many of us.

I agree, I think that everybody should be free to enjoy their own fetish but I've read many stories of guys who spent all the money that was destined to their family and children for a girl.

"Why are you guys not exploitable enough?" is not a good look.

Is the bloke she B/G's with her boyfriend? If so why isn't she paypigging him? Or do paypigs have to finance them both?
