That’s not to say he can simply refuse to enforce a law he disagrees with. But simply delaying the law’s implementation doesn’t seem to be wholly beyond the pale.

The only reason that Trump can delay this law is that the TikTok bill itself gives the President the right to delay the implementation of the law for up to 90 days. It's a provision in the bill itself.

However, this is supposed to be done when evidence exists that real progress has been made towards finding a US buyer. Since such evidence doesn't seem to exist, Trump's executive order to delay is open to challenge in the courts.

Some people definitely aren't going along with the delay. Will they dare to challenge Trump in court? This was posted on twitter by a US Senator AFTER Trump's executive order to delay the bill.

He's just signed an Executive Order declassifying documents related to the assassinations of JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King....

I wonder weather he will release the documents related to Jeffrey Epstein because he was a big friend of him and there’s hundreds of pictures of him and Epstein some with fairly young girls it will be interesting to see if he does.
