They even let a journalist from TASS the Russian State News organisation into the Oval Office. He was not on the designated pool journalist rota but this had to be pointed out to the Press Office Team who then escorted him out.

He was full of shit from the get go! Did anybody expect anything different from before? I fucking certainly didn't. I couldn't give a fuck about what happens in America (except the people that wanted change and a decent, uncorrupt system in place, instead they have a puppet President with Musk running the show in the background) because of the clueless twats that voted for him.

His policies regarding Ukraine and every other fucking thing he tries to implement are corrupt as fuck in my view but hey get used to the next four years.

It has to be said that any deal made by Trump has to viewed as being shit and having very little value. It wouldn't surprise me that deal sees Trump getting somethig out of it financially in a personal sense

Why do I have feeling that Trump and Vance had a plan before the meeting to go for Zelensky, and effectly kill the deal. Then they come back an offer him an improved deal (for them)

Which is what my thinking is - Trump will probably want to screw Zelensky over one way or another, but at the same time, I bet he was close to having a seizure

Oh well. After a couple of days of quasi-sanity, normal service has been resumed.

Well, Zelensky left without signing the mineral deal and the joint press conference was cancelled, so yeah, Trump and Vance have fucked this.

I'm watching the news now as I've been out all afternoon. Zelenskyy deserves a medal for not punching Trump.

And after hersring what the mood was like I'm not surpirsed Zelenzky left, my estimation of him has gone up a nottch or three and I hope now other leaders subddenly start rejecting any offer form someone who has been convicted but is allowed to be thr most poweful man in the world, if he blows America open and it's develops into civil war don't call us Mr President, we're too busy.
