BBC Sports Personality of the Year
The awards are on tonight at 8pm, haven't seen as much promotion for them this year.

Here are the ten contenders for the main prize :

Rory or Lewis would be worthy winners but feel Rory will win it.

Good mix of contestants this year.
But should Rory be eligable as he's opted to represent Ireland in the olympics?

Just did my vote for Rory.

He's probably still cringing after having to pretend to laugh at Lineker's premature ejaculation joke - thought this was meant to be a family show.

Golfers have personality?.. Rolleyes Wink

Lewis should win this award, he had to go a whole season to become F1 champion, and it's his 2nd Championship. Or if not him the Paralympians.

Can't believe that Ryan Giggs beat Jenson Button to it a few years ago after Jenson became F1 world Champion.

Rory won a golf torunament with a fancy name, end of the day it's just a golf, my grandad can play golf...

The lifetime achievement award was just pandering to the host city. Should have been Phil Taylor.
The Helen Rollason award was just an excuse to get Prince Harry on screen for a bit of shameless gloating.
Much as I applaud the sacrifices made by those who competed at the Invictus Games I feel the award would have been better given posthumously to Phil Hughes with a representative from England presenting it to Australia captain Michael Clarke.
Overseas Sports Personality: Cristiano Ronaldo Bounce.
Do me a favour. Should have been Novak Djokovic all day long.
Coach of the Year: Paul McGinley - er no. He was a captain not a coach. He was not teaching his players how to play Golf for crying out loud Rolleyes.
As for McIlroy and Hamilton its a tough call.
Hamilton - 11 race wins and a World title aided by the best car.
McIlroy - World no 1, 2 majors and the Ryder Cup aided by 11 other guys.
Not an easy call to make.

I am not overly offended with Ronaldo winning International and totally agree with Lewis winning the SP14. Good point about Phil Hughes would have been a touch of class.

Chris Hoy lifetime achievement oh please! Then that means Kelly Holmes or Jessica Ennis is more valid he competes in Sport that gives him multiple attempts to win gold in each games where Jessica for example has one!! That award should go to an older person a living legend in my opinion.

Spiderman,Spiderman,does whatever a Spider can!!!
