FIFA Womens World Cup 2015

To say that the men who play for England don't care is totally wrong and comes straight from the back pages of the gutter press who know sweet fuck all. That they lose is not because they don't care its because they quite simply are not good enough when compared to the elite teams. Fuelled by a press who won't let the ghost of 1966 go away , all England squads are handicapped by an over expectant nation.

The womens team has done exceptionally well and deserves all the praise but it will be interesting to see how they will cope in future games as they are now a bigger target. You can't compare the mens game with the womens game either as there are far more tougher opponents around the world with higher skill levels and tactical awareness in mens international football. Womens football has raised its profile and I truly hope it continues to grow in the future
