yea, i agree, music isn't as good as it used to be. even old bands are releasing albums that aren't as good as their older material

I'm not an almighty fan of those music acts, but I do like some of their songs and I do prefer the older music to what I hear now a days. Most music of today if you ask me are more or less the same in the sense its made to make money, I know it sounds stupid, everyone who makes music tends to sell it for a profit but I get the impression that the music acts of the 50s to the 80s created the music for simply creating the music and sold them off for a profit if that makes sense to anyone.

If I have to idolise anything, I would idolise the rock band Queen because of how different they are to other music acts. I've been to some of their recent concerts, namely the Return of the champions and the Cosmos rocks concert with Paul Rogers but I’m not at all impressed with the new album Cosmos rocks album, to me it doesn't even sound Queen. Sure it has the recognisable red special sound to it and the recognisable vocals that go with it from Queen’s part, but Freddie Mercury in my mind was Queen and with him I don’t think they should create anymore music in his absents minus the Made in heaven album.

My favourite band at the moment has to be Daughtry ...
Im a big fan of the Country Band Rascal Flatts aswell, U can listen to there songs over and over again and not get bored!

Another vote for Guns N' Roses here. I love the old and new stuff, it's a shame the new album didn't do better in the charts. I really thought it would have got to number 1 easily. I think it entered at number 3 here and then dropped out of the top 20 the following week
There are some great tracks on it, namely Street Of Dreams, Catcher In The Rye, Madagascar and This I Love, which has an amazing guitar solo, just as good as anything Slash has done in my opinion.

It entered the charts at second behind the shitty overrated The Killers newest album.
