I'll concede Eric was wrong to have a dig at Helen's face.But didn't ALL the campmates take the piss out of Helen's mis-applied fake tan on her face .This was when the mirror went "missing"and they ALL took great delight in her predicament.

Eric tells it how it is, i prefer people like that who are honest and straight forward, people who talk behind peoples backs or yes men annoy me

He clearly stated on ITV2 programme that he was annoyed and pissed off with her for not bringing any food back, he was nasty to her becasue he was hungry, so he said himself it was meant and deliberate.

I'm not going to let this deterioate into a silly argument over this. If your fine with a middle aged man critizing a young girls looks and compitence, fine. Maybe if he was to launch into a girl becasue she was fat, that would ok too, 'just telling it as it is', even though that could lead the girl to have anorexia.

You don't just 'tell it has it is', everybody is different and everybody see things differently and every body have varying levels of sensitivity.

I'd like to bet if people where to 'tell it has it is' and what they really thought of you every single time, sooner or later yous would get pretty fucked off and angry about it. And if it was women saying how un attractive they thought yous where, sooner or later your confidance would be demolished - and i'd bet and entire box of jelly babies on it.

Pretty much every day everybody are, and have to be, diplomatic it's a fundamental requirement of social interactions.

You just don't go you to a ugly fat girl and say 'your an ugly fat girl aren't you' - no offence, just saying it has it is.

Mellover, its a reality tv programme made to show peoples personalities, everybodys different if you dont like eric.. Fine, helen's capable of taking care of herself, she's a grown woman, its not as if eric has done anything wrong anyway, you sound like helens mother, man up, god only knows what eric would say to you if he heard you lol

I feel i need to point out, since you seem to have completely misunderstood me.

I am fine with eric, i like him, I use to watch him in the early 80's, my mum went to the same school at the same time as john lowe, his great rival at the time, Hellen i can't abide, a simple look at my comments about her on this would show this.

But, his attitude to both Hellen and Rosmary was out of order and i assume thats why his out.
