My team India were thrashed yesterday by Sri Lanka and no longer hold the number 1 ranking infact there are now number 3 which is about right where as England are now number 7 in ODI'S.

Sri Lanka 307/6 50 overs

India 168 all out 37.2 overs

Sri Lanka win by 139 runs

RE: Cricket Season
After winning two - count them, TWO! - ODI's in succession against two very good outfits, England are now due to face Australia (again!Rolleyes ) in the semi finals of the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa. The other semi will be between New Zealand and Pakistan.

My own gut feeling is that Pakistan are going to win this one. Much as I'd love to see England win something, I think the Aussies have the hoodoo over us in the short form, so we won't reach the final to get shown up by Pakistan's spinners.Sad Anyone think differently?
