Aew tag titles match: The young Bucks vs MJF & Jericho -
Im offically stating that the young bucks are the most overrated team ever, they sell nothing hit the same moves over and over again and kickout of everything
Now logically a shot with a baseball bat would be the finish but not in a young bucks match another 10 minutes of flips and super kicks....

Damn the butcher looks like the guy on escape to the chateau
The big lanky fuck almost dropped billy gunn's son on his head at one point This was basically so everyone can get on the show... the last bit with fenix and jungle boy was good

Aew women's title match: Hikaru Shida vs Ryo Mizunami -
Im done with japanese womens wrestling its just beyond a joke at this point This was dreadful, the little tap chops in the corner... I actually heard jr's soul die a little bit during this match.

Im not sure how miro is in a better spot here his wobbly legs selling for orange was so dumb

Street Fight: Sting & Darby vs Starks & Cage -
I really didnt see what making this match "cinematic" (if thats what you want to call it)added sting seemed to be moving around just fine a normal tag would have been good enough but hey ho tony is doing gm mode
Im convinced they used a body double for sting during that sunset flip spot
Oh and the commentary was great best bit about the match lol

Aew World Title "Exploding barbed wire death match: Kenny omega vs Jon moxley - This was one of those thing where you just have to ask why ? Why book this type of match ? Why not prepare better for it you have all the money and time in the world and you produce this why was the ref wearing a bee keepers outfit Why was kingston so injured did he have heart failure from the sparklers going off Why did they stay on air so long after the botch

Wrestlemania 37 Night One

We open the show with an unscheduled match rain storm vs wwe.
Rain storm dominates from the start causing an evacuation and damage to the set Wwe tries to rally back with some improv backstage interviews but the storm will not give in... after 30 minutes of domination rain storm finally starts to tire it seems wwe rope-a-dope tactic has paid off, the crowd start to make their way back in... wwe has won it What a match a 40 minute classic.


WWE Championship Match - Bobby Lashley vs Drew Mclntyre -
This was a lot better than i expected they worked very well together and the right man won.

Womens Tag Gauntlet Match -
The only good thing was liv morgan and mandy rose looking fine
Everything else even who went over was shit

Priest's over the top entrance is silly, bunny with his rosy cheeks did well in his first match but i just wasnt interested in it all seemed pointless.

SD Women's Title Match - Sasha Banks vs Bianca belair -
This was a good match and was a good choice to go on last,
Both worked well together everything was smooth with no botches which is rare in womens matches i likes sasha using bianca's ridiculous hair as a weapon, my only criticism was bianca's over the top shocked acting after the 450 kickout...
Oh and michael cole doing what he does best being a crap announcer

The first and last match was the only things worth watching everything else could have just been on a smackdown or raw episode.

Wrestlemania 37 Night 2

The Fiend vs Randy Orton -
To start the fiend magically morphed back to his old outfit i assume because the new one looked ridiculous... i didn't like anything about this, even the stupid red light was back and alexa at the end with juice spewing out her head... if it was juice spewing on to her face i would have been okay with it but oh well.

Women's Tag Titles Match - Jax & Bazsler v Natalya & Tamina -
This was something... there was a combined age of 157 years in this match and it showed, why this went 15 minutes i will never know botch after botch even the best "Technical" wrestler natalya couldn't save it

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn -
Finally a good match as expected i have no idea who this paul guy is nor do i care but it was nice to see a "celebrity" actually be on the end of a beatdown instead of the otherway around.

WWE US Title Match - Riddle vs Sheamus -
I hate riddle so i was glad he lost, sheamus has been doing excellent work since his return last year and considering he was meant to be going into wrestlemania as champion and be facing drew before plans changed i think this was well deserved.

WWE US Title Nigerian Drum Match - Big E vs Apollo Crews -
This match was clearly not thought out before hand as im not sure a kendo stick has any links to africa... match itself was okay and a big awkward guy came out and beat up E.

Raw Women's Title Match - Asuka vs Rhea Ripley -
I assumed this would be match of the night but it never really clicked the opening exchange was very good but then it slowed down, it was decent overall ripley finally getting her moment.

WWE Universal Title Match - Roman Reigns vs Edge vs Daniel Bryan -
This was a hard match to review because it had the makings of a great match but was just full of interference... roman is going on a legend killing tour over the next few years till he gets to the rock, bryan is half way out the door at wwe and edge needs to turn full heel and go to raw...

Overall
On paper night 2 looked the better show but night 1 was actually more enjoyable, best match over the 2 nights was sasha v belair, worst match was the womens tag title match. I will be glad when mania goes back to 1 night next year 2 nights of this is hard work.

i watched an interesting DVD last night , best of Cactus Jack in ECW vol1,
i covers his first few months in ECW after leaving WCW, if a really interesting thing to watch from a historical point of view as its the same time ECW goes from being NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling to Paul E buying the company and turning it into Extreme Championship Wrestling,
the best bit about the DVD is all the pre and post match promo in on it its so interesting to watch Paul E showing he truely is the best mic man ever in wrestling and Mick is not far behind him,
it includes the famous moment where Jack who had left WCW and the tag champ spits on the tag belt and throughs the belt away it was a huge moment at the time,
the matches are all a total mess as you would expect from ECW at this time they are trying to invent hardcore wrestling and dont always get it right,
match 1, Jack starts with a match against Sabu it build up promo is better than the match Jack has a bad arm and cant use it Sabu dose some mad big spots, Paul E knocks Jack out with his phone to end it,
match 2, is his first against his idle Terry Funk its a great match until there is a run in from The Public Enemy that kills the match dead but it dose end with the fans chucking all the chairs into the ring covering the Public Enemy, Funk gets knocked out when one hits his head,
match 3 is meant to be Jack and Funk for the tag belts on the famous night ECW is born with Douglass winning the NWA world title and chucking it in the bin and instead becoming the first ECW champ,
the tag match is not as planned as Funk couldn't make it so Mikey Whipreck steps in with jack and they have a shock win in a match that goes everywhere,
match 4 is the rematch with Sabu and again its a mess as when Sabu dose his forst big move a moon salt out the ring he goes right over Jacks head lands on the guard rail and breaks 3 ribs, madly they still finish the match and it still has big moves in,

it is a fun watch and really shows how far things have come, it also shows why ECW never made it on TV so much great fan interaction with great crowds and i bet it was amazing live but on TV all you see is crowd in the way a lot of the time
its well work a watch for one of the most important moments in 90's wrestling,
