Hi Guys, it's 7:19 am and there's lots of error crap at the top of the screen. I think it has something to do with the thanks button.

looks like it is being added now, i got it to work earlier, but only on the first post in a thread.

Just noticed the 'thanks' button has returned - thanks (!) Admin.

Edit: Er . . . , now it's gone again.

So has the crap at the top of the page, which looked like this:

thanks for the thanks button, can we also have a wanks button for posts that we think are shite?

News on the thanks button:

Unfortunately the thanks button we had previously is incompatible with the upgraded version of the forum and can't be reinstalled.

However, a new thanks button has been sourced and is now operational and I hope is full working order. That's the good news. The bad news is that it won't display the old thanks from the previous button.

Correct, yes it was to do with the thanks button. The installation of the new button caused some jumbled text to appear for a couple of minutes, but this was just part of the installation process and nothing to be concerned about. Some people close forums down whenever they are adding something in order to avoid users seeing any anomalies during the process, but I like to keep the forum going at all times if possible and only close it down if I absolutely have to. Hopefully the jumbled text didn't spoil your forum experience!
