i think, more than pressure being put on her by others, this is solely a decision on cara's part. i (for one) have noticed that she has lost quite a bit of weight the last 6-12 months, i mean you only need to look at pics from a year ago and compare them to what she looks like now, and so the weight loss will've had an effect on her chest (much like amanda). she probably feels like getting them to look perkier. is a shame though.

Whatever the reason, it is, imho, a disgrace. I can only hope that Elite and Cara's friends are doing everything in their power to change her mind. She has the sort of figure that most girls would give their eye teeth for.

For most of these girls, these boob "enhancements" are brought on by the same sort of forces as anorexia and bulimia - low self-esteem. Something needs to be addressed here, industry-wide, like the banning of size zero models.

For a girl with a firgure like Cara to have them inflated sends out all the wrong signals to kids of 18 with perfectly good figures, even if they're not in the modelling business. And I'm afraid we, the consuming male public are much to blame too.

Apparently a large majority of women who have breast implants regret it either immediately or later on in life (or both). The physical scarring bever goes away, and as a quick fix for low self-esteem it is not any kind of solution.

Personally I wish that channels like Elite would act responsibly and simply not employ girls who have have rock-hard attachments of ridiculous proportions. There are plenty of girls about who are naturally well-endowed - Jasmine, Jessica, Cleo, Caty, Amber, Toya, Stevie, Jodie etc etc.

And finally - the whole thing makes me have even more respect for the likes of Sophia Knight and Michelle Moist - girls who are firmly established in the porn industry but who just use what they've got, and are all the more attractive for it.

i think yer all being a bit self righteous about this. its 1 thing to disguss a girls performance. but her choice to get implants is hers and hers alone she hasnt asked for your opinions so shouldnt realy be up for debate.
if it makes her happy then let it go. i wasnt happy about camilla going under the knife but at the end of the day its her body and she will do with it what she pleases.
if it dosent affect her ability to perform then realy its none of our business.
yes we can all freely critacise a perfomance, but getting personal? thats not what we do here...

jessica you cant honestly think these are legit...

if cara wants to have a boob job then its fine with me. a bit sad though as cara's natural boobs are the reason she broke into modelling but her modelling has been a bit quiet so cara is hoping they give her a boost in other areas of modelling and you never now she might go onto nights

No personal attack intended. Very sorry if I failed to make clear enough that my diatribe was general.

We can agree to differ on breast enhancements, but I hope we can both agree that with so much anorexia, bulimia, self-inflicted obesity, over-enthusiasitc/numerous facelifts etc about, it is often not at all OK to accept the mantra "it's my body so I can do what I like with it". Every physical manifestation has a psychological trigger.

Elite don't appear to care, as evidenced by their jokey comments about Cara's upcoming boobjob on their twitter feed etc.
(Plus the predominance of plastic breasted women on their late nights hardly demonstrates a pro-natural agenda.)
Hopefully cara's network of glamour model friends will be more responsible in advising her, particularly as the UK mainstream glamour industry outside the babe channels is extremely pro-natural and has been for a while, one of the few rays of hope in this depressing tale.

There is definitely also pressure from agents and the industry itself. Anna was on the forum last week expressing her frustration at the tunnel vision search for big boobs that was impeding her in the glamour industry.
All these factors will compound and the girls naturally lose perspective.

Couldn't agree more. And as you say we have our part to play in this. To be sure, Elite models are made aware of this forum even if they rarely post (or only use it to plug stuff aka Sophia lol) so it's alarming to me how muddy a message is being sent out by those who have posted since this news was announced.

It's so true. If Cara is not getting as much work as she desires, it's far too easy to blame it on her boobs for example rather than perhaps looking at the girls you mention and how they maximize the value of their assets.
i.e. It's always easier for the workman to blame his tools

The fact is that Cara Brett has one of the most gorgeous natural bodies on any of the channels and some combination of factors has distorted her perspective so badly that she views that natural figure as a liability rather than an asset!!!
It's a sobering example of how the culture of boobjobs has spiralled sickeningly out of control and any kind of logic.
