2/4 Raging Torrent
To Ecuador, as three white water kayakers plan to traverse 50+ miles of the Chalupas River. The tone is set when there's an unexpected blizzard on just Day 2, throwing them almost a week behind schedule. Then the terrain slows them up. Then it keeps raining. Then the bickering starts. Then the machete accidents begin. In the end, they make it halfway through, almost a month behind schedule, then pack it in.

3/4 Reaching For The Sky
To Pik Slesova in Kyrgyzstan, with a couple who fall behind schedule thanks to covid (in the summer of 2021). Then when the weather's finally OK, the lady, who's the better climber, suffers with dizziness from nerves. But they go for it, and over 4 days, become the first to complete the NW face of the mountain.

Ali Plumb talks to Mr Cruise (and other cast, separately) about the last (?) film in the 30-odd year franchise, his commitment to stunts, sense of humour and so on. I've still seen none of the films.
Movies That Made Me - Tom Cruise
Ali Plumb chatted to him in 2017, and they discussed his films and his film-making experiences, though on more recent films than his older ones. He did also give a short tribute to some classic films he has time for, and why the choreography in musicals inspires his choreography in fight scenes.
Tom Cruise's Greatest Stunts
Ali Plumb again, maybe the last of these? Tom apparently was doing daredevil stuff even when young, trying to entertaining his family. I still don't really want to watch the M:I films, though.

10.x The compilation of series highlights, perhaps fresher to people watching over the weeks, rather than binge watching.
But weird to have completed my viewing of the whole 10 series, which I've mostly enjoyed.
Landscape Artist of the Year 2026
11.1 Oh yeah, S11, baby! First time I'll have watched as live, and they've finally chucked the most abrasive judge (for now) too. Derwentwater offered a picturesque opening challenge, and almost all the competitors could have been picked as the winner, and even some of the wildcards were very good, too.

4/4 The Great Unknown
Up the West Coast of South Africa, in pursuit of a possible 5th "Great Wave" for surfers to enjoy. It takes them a while, and they take a detour to complain at mineral mining which involves digging up beaches, but they do find the desirable surfing experience. I found this the least engaging of the series, but overall worth watching.
