Poolie guy is there any chance you can do a preview analysis of all the games coming up every week? I think it would be well worth reading.

Dont get me wrong I wont disagree with your views at the time just do a told you so afterTongue
Joking aside I think it would really add to this thread if you did do some sort of preview analysis to each game not to worry if it is to much hassle.

As per setters request i will do a small preview of each weeks games and i will do a prediction of each as well. Dont hold me to them though

I am online most fridays, saturdays and sundays so should have plenty of time to do them before the game. Obviously i want to leave the previews as late as possible in case of any change in circumstances like Crabtree signing for the 49ers this week.

I reckon this game could be the upset of the week. One season Dallas won one game all season, and those pesky redskins lost one all season guess where each got their only loss and only win. A shock win for the raiders I believe and not just because it would do the rest of the NFC east division a huge favour

I really, really, really hope The Raiders put on a decent performance on sunday because a very good friend of mine is a massive Giants fan,and basically if we get a tanking the stick i'm going to get....well it doesn't bear thinking about.
Sadly this season for The Raiders is heading down an all so familiar path, disarray aplenty. The Head Coach Tom Cable is facing an assault charge and a suspension from the NFL if charges are pressed, infighting from the players,JaMarcus Russell has been skipping team meetings and former players Rich Gannon and Warren Sapp (asshole,he wasn't so vocal when we gave him a mega-bucks long-term contract when nobody else wanted him annoyed) slating the organisation every opportunity they get.
The Raiders/Rams/Browns are on the clock for Tim Tebow me thinks.

1) raiders have no expectations nothing to lose will come out guns blazing
2) what has Rich Gannon and Warren Sapp being saying about the raiders?
3) Cable is a thug he offerd a player out I think either last season or the pre season and boasted at how that guy backed away. It looks like the raiders inherent thuggery has expanded to off the pitchlaugh

Sadly our guns are water pistols Rolleyes
Rich Gannon has been very critical of Al Davis,to the point The Raiders tried to have him banned from the stadium when CBS broadcast the recent Raiders/Broncos game and Gannon was the analyst.Sapp recently said we're the worst organisation in football, and is forever sticking the boot in on NFL Total access.
Tom Cable is alleged to have broken assistant coach Randy Hanson's jaw in pre-season,the DA in Napa County is currently deciding if there is enough evidence to proceed with a prosecution.

1) how well as the cutler trade worked out for both the Broncois and the Bears
2) Brett Favre is immortal no other word for it after his performance against The Packers

RE: NFL 2009/10
The Cutler trade i guess has worked out great for both teams,if you told me before the season started that The Broncos would be 4-0 with Kyle Orton at QB,i wouldn't have believed it.Cutler will solely be judged on what he does in the play-offs,they got him to get them deep into the post-season,anything less will probably be considered a failure.
Brett Favre never ceases to amaze me,he's 40 but plays like he's 10 years younger, his performance against The Packers,WOW,the guy's a total legend as far as i'm concerned.
The BIG question is how long has Jim Zorn got left at The Redskins? The speculation on PTI the other day is recently appointed 'offensive consultant' Sherman Lewis is in position to take over if there isn't an improvement.

RE: NFL 2009/10
I am well aware of Tom Cable clash with his assistant. I was just emphasizing(in my very muddled and long winded way) how much a red neck/thug he is. He is the sort of bloke that prides himself on how many more drinks he can down than the next man and how many people he could beat up in a fight. He is a strange choice of head coach. Most Head coaches are very reflective, calculating, intelligent, articulate people these days Cable is the total anthesis to a modern day head coach.

About your guns being water pistols lmao at that comment. Have faith in your team my fellow NFL brethren. On any given day anyone can beat anybody.

RE: NFL 2009/10
I think you could be right about Zorn, It is a shame because he comes across as a very like-able bloke. It is like football when they get a Director of football in who has management experience you know the managers days are numbered, he is on borrowed time, or start winning or else(a la Paul Harte at Portsmouth).

You know that Zorn's job is definitely on the line when the CEO publicly backs him saying that 'Sherman Lewis is here strictly under a consultancy capacity and he is employed to work closely with coach Zorn'. That is when you know Zorn's days are well and truly numbered.
