A thanks button is now installed and is fully active. There are 2 quite small outstanding issues with the chatbox, neither of which affect it's running, but they should be resolved today anyway

I just had to change mine from automatically detect DST correction to always use DST correction to get the correct time display today.

TheWatcher is correct, members should ideally have their time zone set to GMT and have selected the option always use DST correction.

No, the quick edit option should still be there. Please post in this thread again if you don't have the quick edit option.

It wasnt in the new style but if you change it back to classic mode it works well and is a lot faster. loveing the fact you can send to multiple users now

Hi DrGrumpyPants, PMs should now be fully functional in both the classic mode and the modern mode.

yea looks like it depends on length of usernames

Correct Shandy. It's to prevent anyone with a very long user name, such as heavenlybabespecialfriend for example, from causing the whole thread to move to the right. With the new format they can only move their own posts to the right, not everyone else's (note: this is only relevant to the classic mode).

The red box chat logo has now been restored to every page in the forum and should be visible in the top right corner. Can anyone post in this thread if they find a page which isn't showing the chat logo?

Also, will the thanks button be returning? And, if so, will all the original 'thanks' disappear?

The thanks button has now returned, but unfortunately yes the original 'thanks' have disappeared. They have however only disappeared from the forum display, as all the old thanks still exist in the forum database. I may publish that database table in the forum in some way, but that's a separate issue to the forum upgrade.

I assure you I went to great lengths to find a thanks button which would work with the new version of the forum. After all, the old thanks button had been used almost 150,000 times.

Just a thought.

Thanks once again for your hard work.Admin

It shouldn't really blend in, as the name of the thread author is always shown on a separate line.
