He should have served his full sentence? Just because he's a footballer and not a plumber or a van driver? He seems arrogant for you to decide that footballers should be treated differently to everyone else.

Not once has he apologised? How can he apologise when the case is still ongoing and he's hoping to be granted an appeal? Are you saying that nobody has a right to maintain their innocence or appeal against a court decison? How arrogant is that?

Fact - miscarriages of justice happen. If you have no appeal system how can such things be corrected? The right to appeal is generally regarded as a basic human right. It seems supremely arrogant of you to decide that footballers don't have the same human rights as other people.

Maybe you should take a look in the mirror and ask yourself who really is the one with the arrogant attitude.

I think if we lose to Scotland tonight, that would make the win against Slovenia looking POINTLESS!! When I watched the second half I wondered just how far backwards we have gone since the World Cup. I don't know what Roy says to them before they go out but I'm beginning to think the players have lost confidence in Roy's approach & method. When the FA come to replace Roy I think we should go for a far younger manager who can pick players that are exciting. At 67, I agree Roy has experience but I think the last few games have shown to me, that England tactically still lack some killer instinct even thought we have now won 5 games in a row for the first time in five years. Although this evening is a friendly, I think there is every chance we could come home with out tails between our legs. The Scots must be really be looking forward to exposing our back four. which to me hasn't been the best set of defenders we have had for a long time. I'd love to see Austin play for England but I do think his chance has gone. Yet why should we always consider the players from the premier league? Why can't we even look below that at players in the championship who would probably be proud to pull on the three Lions?
I think we need to stop picking players just from the Premier and start including the Championship players where possible

Whether you commit rape as a footballer, plumber, van driver whatever, then you should serve the full sentence imposed on you for it. And you should also realise that the victim carries a life sentence of their own. Don't you ever consider the victim? Any man who rapes a woman to me is the lowest of the low.
I would never force anyone to have sex with me against their will and nor should have he.
He knows what he did, but has shown no remorse for it, but whether he wins his appeal or not he has to face up the fact fact that by not apologising he will always be seen as arrogant.
Why do you think three patrons of the Club have resigned and two sponsors have pulled out? Or Jess Ennis would come out publicly and say what she said.
That has all happened because of both the Media exposure given and the nature of Evan's crime.
Would you employ someone and then found out they were a convicted rapist? Richard Scudamore certainly wouldn't.

The girl in this case says she is unaffected by the incident - which she says she has no memory of anyway.

The "life sentence" is a complete invention by you. How can she have a life sentence over something she can't even remember?

Been a good typical England V Scotland game so far and good header from Chamberlain for the goal and we have made some good runs
