im guessing with the united vs arsenal game being on BBC the liverpool rovers game will be on BT hope not means will have to go round watch it at my uncles liverpool fan Wink and it always ends up in a family row when liverpool loses haha

hahaha you're jaundiced anti-United bias at work again. Disallow all three goals? Why because United players scored them no doubt. Rooney did dive no matter what people say, but without condoning that behaviour its much like most players seem to these days. What about Kevin Davies fouling and hitting players then falling over and winning free kicks? You not going to mention the constant cheating he has done throughout his career? RE: Football Banter
Nah im not anti united im Anti big teams getting rub of green against every small team.

I said there was a case for all 3 being allowed First one Rooney was definatly in an offiside postiton even though he didnt touch the ball he was still in the line of sight of the goalie and there for interfering in play

the 2nd Felani was pushing down on the defender therfore fouling him lets say it was at the other end and it was davies on one of your defenders they would never of allowed it and it would have been a free kick to your lot

And the 3rd was a dive im sure if the ball had been a a few feet closer to rooney he would have miracously jumped and side passed it into the net he saw the keeper thought ill never get the ball in the net so dived dont blame him for doing it any striker would do it.

just wish media be fucking honest say yeah he dived any striker in that position would do it. instead of constant deniel he dived

First goal was offside because Liverpool player was in line of where the ball went which prevented keeper from seeing the ball and meant he hestiated waiting to see if Liverpool player got touch on ball. Second goal don't think there is enough of a push to give that, third goal silly challenge by keeper ever if Rooney dived

Haven't been able to see no vids so far on the Mario Balotelli incident, where he was argin with stand-in Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson on who should take a penalty, so it not for me to judge.

But, I don't know why Liverpool F.C. are surprised by Balotelli's behavior, since it not the first time he hasn't got his own way. Anyone remember as similar incident when he was at Manchester City F.C when they were playin Sunderland where he squabbled with former team mate Aleksandar Kolarov over a freekick & had to be retrained by former team mate/ club captain Vincent Kompany & other City players

It seems when Mario came on the pitch he was the designated penalty taker, not Henderson .
Brendan Rogers has said if Steven Gerrard is on the pitch then he takes the penalty, he is the no1 penalty taker .
After that if Mario is on the field then he takes the penalty .
If neither Gerrard or Mario are on the field then Henderson takes the penalty .
So at the start of the match Henderson was down to take the penalty, but this changed when Mario came on as sub because he was then on the field and was then the penalty taker .

Feel Balotelli taking the pen has been blown way out of proportion because of who he is , I personally feel he should of taken it but went about it the wrong way .

It's odd that nobody told Gerrard about this - or had he simply forgotten?

Or was Rodgers being economical with the truth?

Gerrard said on TV that Balotelli was "mischievous" and that "basically, Jordan Henderson should have taken that penalty".
