Synopsis revealed for The Flash episode of the 4 show crossover

Heroes Actor Greg Grunberg is joining the show in a recurring role as Detective who has issues with Meta Humans. He will make his first appearance in Ep 7 "Killer Frost".

Ep 9 "The Present" synopsis

With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry (Grant Gustin) is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris (Candice Patton). Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he’s been training with H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), which doesn’t go over well with Barry. As Cisco (Carlos Valdes) faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened.

Ep 7 "Killer Frost"

Wow right out from the bat the best opening sequence this season and possibly of the previous seasons. This Ep had the most reveals that they have ever done on The Flash. Because of Flashpoint I did post before that there would after effects because of the changes not just on powers but also relationships with certain characters and because of what Barry's done I knew there would be consequences which i like how the show could have taken the easy route and fixed it all it's kinda heart breaking seeing Barry suffer because he is good guy.
The fight sequences and CGI was great there are hints and set ups for future events and story lines which when you hear you be excited.
The ending with Barry again consequences and big reveal at the end which I think is a little too easy I still think there's a twist to come especially if you watch very carful with the ending.
All I'll say is the villain is badass am the moment my fav Ep of season 3 well until the crossover lol.
Finally what I like about the show and this season is how there following so much of the comics and making little changes here and there to keep it fresh. Brilliantly directed by Kevin Smith once again as for Killer Frost........
