Kimbo Slice isn't a fan of darts, his first pro boxing match was against James Wade. Out cold.... Ice cold in 10sec.

UFC Live: Hardy vs Lytle.

UK & Ireland
http://www.ufc.com/news/UFC-Hardy-v-Lytle-how-to-watch

It's on Premier Sports today/tomorrow morning at 02:00, Sky 433, Virgin and Freeview don't have access to Premier Sports but will be able to watch online at UFC.tv.
It's on in Ireland on Setanta Sports. if you don't have Setanta then you'll have to watch it on UFC.tv.

For those who can't stay up till 2am which is most of us who'll be up at 7am for work & you can't or don't wanna record it then it'll be shown on UFC.tv all next week for free, the Sky tv guide says it's repeated on Monday night at 21:30 free view.

UFC LIVE events are contracted to the USA channel Versus & as ESPN's deal was done before the Versus contract this means that ESPN has to negotiate a show by show deal & they weren't able to come to an agreement this time round but this won't effect any other PPV (US) events which come under the ESPN deal so UFC 134 & so on will be the same as usual, Saturday/Sunday at the new start time of 02:00am.
The reason that all UFC LIVE on Versus are on Sunday morning is down to the Versus contract.

On the subject of the main event, Dan Hardy failed to make weight first time round but it was only by 1lb so one shit later he was spot on & the fight goes ahead.

Really? Man I hope that's for everyone as I don't have ESPN. We haven't had a free to air ESPN weekend in a while.

I have the Premier Sports Channel so it’s going to be nice to watch UFC on TV than computer screen. I fondly look back on Bravo as they were the first channel to show regular UFC on UK TV from January 2005 till they lost the rights.

Here are my predictions for the main card fights:

Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle – Lytle, DEC
Jim Miller vs. Ben Henderson – Miller, DEC
Donald Cerrone vs. Charles Oliveira – Cerrone, DEC
Amir Sadollah vs. Duane Ludwig – Sadollah, SUB, R1

After two years I've finally given myself an avatar and a signature as well! It's like a bus, you wait for one for ages and two come at once!

RE: UFC
If Dan Hardy's hair was purple last night then i'm an evertonian Rolleyes Something must've gone wrong with the purple mixture!

Another defeat for him (4 in a row now) Didn't think he looked into it when i was watching the fight?Something missing. He didn't look motivated at all for me.

On the plus side Lorenzo Fertitta tweeted that Hardy won't be cut.

Just read what Hardy said after the fight last night and it proves he's mentally not there just now.

He said:

"It's a nice vote of confidence from the big boss,"Obviously, a lot of people are three losses and out. I'm obviously four down now, and I appreciate he's going to give me another opportunity. I love the UFC and the fans and just being a part of the organization and being amongst great fighters.

"I think if they are going to give me one more fight, then I really need to take some time and come back re-invented, if you like. … There are a lot of things I can do. But right now, I need space from competing, and I need space in the gym getting beaten up by much better guys in every area. I'll either improve or find another way. If I've got one more fight, then I'll take one more fight. But maybe it won't be for a little while."

"When I got into this sport, my intention was just to do what I could do and get as far as I could," Hardy said. "I'm proud to say I fought for the belt. It may have been a little early in my career to have done it, but it was an opportunity I took, and I gave it everything I've got. But after that, I don't know. I just felt a little bit of a distance from myself and the sport for various reasons. I don't know.

"I think I had the quickest rise and the quickest fall the UFC's ever seen – four fights up, four fights down. But there were improvements to make. I know that. I just don't think between fights I've really had the time to invest in working on those particular things. I know I've got it in me to learn them."

"I had a great training camp," Hardy said. "But what you do in the gym and what goes on in your head are two completely different things.

"I only had four weeks out in Vegas with Roy, and I made a lot of progress in that time – not that I proved it in the fight. But I feel like I did make a lot of progress. I feel like that's a good place for me to be and to continue to work on my game. That will be something I continue to do. Plus, I have a lot of good friends there now, and they need my help training for their fights, so I'll still be there for them."

"It was a tough fight," Hardy said. "It was exactly what I expected, apart from the squeeze on the neck at the end. … I just went straight into his guillotine. I knew it was a strong technique of his, and he caught me with it.

"Chris is always somebody I looked up to, and I knew coming into this fight it was going to be a great fight, and he was going to really push me, and it was going to be a fun one. I enjoyed the first 14 minutes of it. That lack of oxygen got to me. It's just one of those things. I've got no shame in being beaten by Chris, and I wish him all the best."

"I think my head's elsewhere to be honest," Hardy admitted. "I'm going to step back a little bit and take some time – just enjoy being in the gym for a little while and see where the future takes me. … I'll see where my life takes me after a couple of days off.

"I think I just need to really dedicate the time to it and either come back in a blaze of glory and make a run for the belt or do something else. I'm not sure yet."

RE: UFC
still he doesn't acknowledge the elephant in the room... it wears a big sign that say whats a ground game...
i guess he still needs to learn its MMA not kickboxing. seems like all the brits have the same issue. and its gonna take them moving to the u.s and work with the likes of cracie jiu-jitsu to get at least a basic attack and defence stratagem that will at least give him some idea of how to attack and defend on the ground...

RE: UFC
What Dan Hardy said pretty much sums his UFC career up to date. He looked very nervous in this fight & why the hell he twice tried to take Lytle down only he will know & the second time was right after he'd just set off a good flurry of punches & he follows it up by trying to take a submission specialist to the ground, this was the biggest mistake of his career so far but fair play to the honesty & hopfully he'll come back in 6 to 8 months with somewhat of an alround game???

Hats off to Chris Lytle, one of the best fighters ever to fight in the UFC.

Professional record breakdown 1999-2011
54 matches 31 wins 18 losses
Knockout W3 L2
Submission W22 L0
Decision W6 L16
Draws 5

Fight Of The Night Honors 6
Knock Out Of The Night Honors 1
Submission Of The Night Honors 3
Holds the record for the most UFC bonus awards 10
Ultimate Fighter 4 (Finalist)

I was shocked to find his UFC record is 10-10

Professional boxing record 2002-2005
Wins 13 (7 knockouts, 6 decisions)
Losses 1 (decision)
Draw 1

RE: UFC
I take it u knew Rolleyes I've seen Shane Carwin's name mentioned as a possible first fight for him aswell in the past week or so.Just been on Carwin's twitter and he's been on at Dana White a few times to put him in with Overeem or Lesnar again.Anyone, anytime.Top lad.

I haven't seen much of Overeem but i've seen more than a few change his name to "Overhype" and suggesting that Lesnar would out wrestle him and Carwin would knock him out.Never mind a JDS or a Cain Velasquez!Who knows lads?

The more quality fighters in the UFC the better.
