There's something suspect in the story about the fire at the Crooked House pub in the West Midlands. According to reports by Coventry Live:
The pub was sold to the new owners a couple of weeks ago.
Then there was an unexplained fire which burnt out the building. The fire brigade couldn't get near it due to the road being blocked.

Then the owners got the burn't out pub levelled to the ground, even though they didn't have permission.
Police are investigating what has happened.
