O'Shea had a stinker of a match.
Could not hit a barn door eek.
Adams was steady though.

Christian Kist was knocked out, too. Gives some newer faces a chance, I guess (Martin Adams notwithstanding)

Terrific last few legs from Tony 'The Viper' Eccles to knock out Kist.
Treble 18, treble 18, double 7 checkout to stay alive.
Knocked the wind right out of the Dutchman.

Did you see the chap in the full head Darth Vader mask?
Commentator said "doesn't look like he's had much to drink".
And the boyo dressed as a yellow crayola crayon. Random Huh

Was that Tupton Hall school by any chance or maybe Clay Cross ? .

When i first met John Lowe when i was a kid he was still a Joiner and up and coming darts player, he was doing us some joinery work . At that time i think he was living at Clay Lane Clay Cross in Derbyshire a few miles from were i live, he later moved to Wingerworth if i remember correctly .

Iv'e seen him and spoke to him quite a few times over the years since then, he used to go in the same local village pubs as me in Clay Cross and Pilsley in Derbyshire .

Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

Well what an absolutely bizarre and farcical scene that was. If Atkins is genuinely injured why the hell did the BBC and their idiot interviewer Rob Walker go back and bother him ? What an amateur scene it was.

Watching Alan Norris v James Wilson on the red button and what a first four sets.
2-2 and the standard is phenomenal eek
Awesome stuff so far.

Edit: Norris stormed away to win 5-2 but that does not tell the whole story.
It was an unbelievably high quality match.
Both players were superb.

RE: Darts
Caught the end of Lisa Ashton's great quarter-final win, and found myself riveted to today's Ladies Final: a real game of two halves, Deta Hedman cruising to victory because her finishing was superb, but then she fell apart, Ashton improved her previously poor finishes, and from being one leg away from defeat, Lisa won the final set 3-1 Big Grin

And she's from Lancashire, too Tongue
