They now face Canada in the semis

Catastrophic finish from the Brit curling women.
The consequences could be severe.
Canada have been rampant.
GB now need to play out of their skin or hope Canada have a very bad day .
On the plus side they are guaranteed a shot at a medal.
If they lose to Canada they have a shot at a bronze but unfortunately all the other 3 teams in the semis beat GB in the round robin phase .
It is very erratic from Team GB. Far too many sloppy ends.
No mistakes curling required now.

i didnt want too speak soon again like i did this morning when something similar nearly happened! they did well too qualify though after only winning 1 of their first 3 matches, and hopefully canada will have a nightmare similar to when the americans played us! i think eve and are number 2 have to play alot better though to beat canada but we will see, straight knockout so maybe canada will feel some pressure!

And the men have Norway in a play off tomorrow .
From a 5-1 record to a 5-4 record .
Hardly inspiring form to head into a playoff .
I'm hoping for the best but fearing the worst for both GB teams .

Rowan Cheshire will not compete in Thursday's women's ski halfpipe competition due to concussion. She was injured in a fall during a training session on Sunday and spent the night in hospital under observation.

GB have the last stone advantage but need two to win.
One to force an extra end but that would give Norway last stone.
