Sri Lanka shared a useful 2nd wicket worth 90 runs but Tharanga Paranavitana departed for 54 and then slipped to 144/5 at lunch but good batting from Kumar Sangakkara who remains on 133* not out but still need 59 more runs to make India bat again.

RE: Cricket Season
India going number 1 can only be good for the future of test cricket. Hopefully the powers that be in India reign back the overkill of T20 there and one-day cricket now they're number 1 and play more test matches and therefore pump more money back in and create larger crowds. Cos lets face it, they pretty much run the ICC with all the income they're responsible for.

Anyways any1 got any view bout sum of the issues going on 2day?

- The controversial Umpire Decision Referral System which has continued on its path like the trials did, full of confusion, indecision and having a lack of clarity. Just goes to show that having technology does not solve it all. In cricket they are all over the place with it despite the most options in terms of video evidence available. I mean sumtimes they can't even get the runouts n stumpings correct.

- England touring SA. We got a gd 1-day series win ther, which i thort we wudn't, but a win's a win despite 2 being washed out. Also the worry about Anderson's fitness and KP's form. Witout Anderson i can't foresee a series win at all. At present i think it'll be 2-1 to the South Africans.

the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

Third test Day 1 Napier

Pakistan 223 all out off 64.3 overs

New Zealand 47/0 off 19 overs

To be honest with you Pakistan were an absloute shambles only Imran Farhat was the only one who scored most of the runs for his team as he remain on 117* not out and New Zealand were safely on 47/0 despite scoring at a slow run rate.
