Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government

Rishi Sunak visits a soup kitchen to show he "cares" about the less fortunate., and asks a homeless man " what business are you in ?"

Well I'm not a Conservative voter, but I don't see anything wrong with that exchange.

“Are you sorting the economy out?”
Sunak: “Well, that is exactly what I am trying to do.
“Best for business.”
Sunak: “Do you work in business?”
“No, I’m homeless. I am actually a homeless person. But I am interested in business.”
Sunak: “Yeah? What kind of business?”
“I like finance. It’s good for the city. When finance and stuff does well, we all do well in London.”
Sunak: “Yeah, that’s absolutely right. So I used to work in finance actually.”
“Yeah, I heard. Ex-investment banker.”
Sunak: “Is that something you’d like to get into?”
“Yeah, I wouldn’t mind. I don’t know. I’d like to get through Christmas first.”

Nadine's not happy about the direction of the Sunak government. Secretly pissed because they've abandoned selling off channel4.



All least she hasn't mentioned bringing back Boris....... yet

What with higher rents in combination with higher energy bills and higher mortgage rates the struggles people are facing are really stark.
Hard working people and businesses too are going to need extended support.
Whether the government will oblige though is a different story altogether
