Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it?

paracetomol should ration itself as your only allowed to buy 2 packs because they think if you buy more you are trying to top yourself

I keep meaning to stock up on instant noodles have noticed that they are selling a lot varietys in the shops now i could live of pot noodles or english ramen as i call it now

All this talk about closing all of the schools....

Is this a practical step to take? You are looking at over 10 million children. What are you going to do? Put them all under house arrest? I can just see it now...hundreds of thousands of bored teenagers who can be rebellious and inclined to do their own thing at the best of times. ‘The devil makes work for idle hands’ as they say...

What about the children whose parents both work, and as luck would have it, have jobs in the public sector where working from home is not an option, and who between them earn just about enough to make ends meet?

Such situations haven’t been thought through by the hysterics out there who screech ‘oh they can get child minders’ or ‘grandparents can look after them’...aren’t the elderly at the highest risk from this virus?

All schools, colleges, childcare facilities, museums and tourist operations to close tomorrow at 6pm in Ireland until March 29th. All non essential hospital appointments cancelled, indoor gatherings of more than 100 people cancelled as well as all outdoor gatherings of more than 500 people.

I can see the March 29th deadline being extended. Also the medical experts are stressing "social isolation" as the evidence shows its the best way to avoid contracting the virus.
