Generally decent quality, 2-part documentary of a subject not often documented on TV (relative to the likes of the Russian Revolution, American Civil War etc.), but let down, somewhat, by the wholly unnecessary (and often rubbish looking) 'gimmick' of colourised archive footage.

Peter Kay's Comedy Shuffle 6/7

I thought the best parts of this were the clips from That Peter Kay Thing,Phoenix Nights and Car Share.I can take or leave everything else.

i prefer his standup well the earlier stuff because he hit right on the head about growing up in this part of the world. his observational stuff was spot on

still cant go to preston Train station without chuckling remembering the joke about platform 3 and the yellow line and getting sucked off

Love car share but felt short changed by new series was only 4 episodes

Yeah his older stand up is brilliant but I hate that singing shit that he does in his his act now and I would've liked more episodes of Car Share.
