Gary O Neal's sacking as the Wolves manager isn't a surprise.

Bruno Lage, Julen Lopetegui and O'Neil were all screwed over by Jeff Shi as regards transfer market activity. The areas of the team that needed addressing in each and every transfer window since the departure of Nuno were not sorted out. I take the view this sort of season has been brewing for a long time.
Wolves have dodged the relegation bullet in one fashion or another for all of the last three seasons to a degree where I have wondered how the hell they managed to get the points they ended up getting.
They have been fortunate bearing in mind the ever worsening type of goals they have been conceding over the past three and a half seasons. Lage, Lopetegui and O'Neil all complained in one form or another that they were working with hands tied behind their backs and were swiftly slapped down privately to change the narrative back to what Fosun wanted. The self sustainability model Fosun are advocating is unlikely to attract any decent manager to the club.
Wolves are now a club selling their best players each summer and not replacing them with experienced proven talent at Premier League level. The inevitable outcome is relegation which is now pretty much a certainty especially given the model Fosun are operating with.

The discipline of the team has completely gone now. Lemina against West Ham, Ait-Nouri against Ipswich Town. That I think is what made Fosun act to sack O'Neil.

But, in truth while he had obvious deficiencies as a coach he never was the only problem.
Any manager of any repute would be well advised to decline the position of Wolves manager. It's a poisoned chalice that even I as a fan would reject. It hurts to say that but that's how I feel.

In his interview last night on Match of the Day he didn't use the word 'we', in was 'they'. He obviously knew that his time was up.

And as mentioned above, he couldn't even control the discipline in the team. At the end of the match Matheus Cunha ripping the glasses off the face of an Ipswich Town staff member. He had to be dragged off the pitch as he was given a red card. I expect a long ban to follow.

I think to be honest it's what happens when we allow foreign owners in to the beautiful game here - I have always wondered if any do have a good grasp of how the game is over here before even getting inviolved. I grant that thePL is streamed overseas and all that, but I just wonder how many have a good grasp of the business acumen that is needed to be involved.

I have to say I think I have to agree I think many managers will be wise to give the Wolves job a wide berth at the moment, but really it would be good to see fans of other clubs show some solidarity and give Wolvws fans support in finally forcing the owners out - that to me are the sort of owners who should not be nvolved as their record of managers isn't one of the best in the PL, and if they are forced out and new owners come in who have a decent record of managing and probably would reinstate O'Neill asap as I feel that there are some Wolves fans probably think he wasn't given enough time to show what he can do.

I think Kelly is a great choice her knowledge and enthusisam for the game is probably second to none. I'd very much hope she'd say she'll do MOTD naked in her showr
