Well as a City fan i`m happy to have won as i thought we`d be thrashed. But i`m not getting carried though a lot of our fans at the moment. As we still have 1 game to go.

While watching MOTD earlier I heard the old fella Motty come out with this little ditty while explaining how easy Frank Lampard took his goal,

if your a city fan and you win the fa cup but finish fifth in the league, does your manager get the sack?

Of course not. Haven't you heard UEFA have already guaranteed Citeh's place in the Champions League next season. After all they have all the money and are far more deserving of a place than such teams as Wolves, Wigan, Sunderland, Bolton, etc who even if they finished fourth are frankly not what UEFA are looking for. Wink

In no way am I a bitter and twisted Everton fan who was gutted that the oil money went to Eastlands and not Goodison. Sad

if they do win it, wont it be their 1st trophy for over 30 years? but if they only finish 5th but win the fa cup im just wondering wether he will keep his job or not. i thought the only reason man city appointed mancini was to get them in to the top 4 this season. they might win the fa cup and finish in the top 4 anyway so it might not matter.

As a blue who was there yesterday I think the reuslt will help the team gel more and will finish 4th. However to answer your question, i think he will keep his job but will need a great start to new season or will be out by Christmas. Its the Champions league that will bring in the new players we need.
Love the united fans who are claiming thats its all bought sucess. The last 20 years spring to mind. lol.
Anyway we still need to win the final and not sure I prefer. Better football from Bolton or being kicked by stoke. Maybe Wembleys pitch will hust Stoke more than Boltons style of play.
But then again. I thought we would get leathered yesterday without Tevez. Shows how much I know.Bounce
